In June 2020 I was invited to move to Birmingham, England from Virginia Beach to help pioneer Infinite Arts UK, an Arts ministry that works with those affected by addiction and homelessness.

With a B.A. in Theatre Performance from LU and a heart to see broken lives restored, this felt like a magnificent opportunity from the Lord. I arrived in the UK March 2021. My main role was to help establish practices and rhythms for creativity and theatrical technique for those in the community. This took shape in teaching classes, leading workshops, writing, directing, and producing shows, using many skills obtained in my undergraduate degree.

I also worked alongside leadership developing curriculum for initiating worshipful creativity in the Church. I helped craft and launch an internship program specifically for those interested in serving in Infinite Arts UK.

These past four years have been equally some of the most challenging and rewarding years of my life. I can see the Lord has led every step, even in my most difficult seasons of faith.

Even before I moved to the UK, saying yes to a Theatre degree at a private school was an act of faith (God bless my parents). But in retrospect, I've been able to use almost everything I learned in some capacity on the mission field. I can honestly say I've lived the promise of what Psalm 84:11-12 describes.

Psalm 84:11-12

11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
    the Lord bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does He withhold
    from those who walk uprightly.

12 O Lord of hosts,
    blessed is the one who trusts in You!
